joined Barr Gazetas in 2002 and became an equity director in 2012. In 2016 Jon took responsibility for the studio's governance and relationships, taking the role of Managing Director.

Jon is involved with projects at every level and contributes to all internal design reviews. He manages the growth and development of the practice and leads many of our projects for The Crown Estate, Grosvenor, British Land and Marsfields.

Jon drives Barr Gazetas' passion for knowledge and ideas and takes a keen interest in nurturing new projects and refining the brief and the concept with the teams. He enjoys unlocking the potential within complex city centre projects, including most recently: HolbeinGardens, Grain House, 7 High Street, and The Goslett, amongst others.

Jon has a passion for sustainability that is reflected across the practice. He is a Sustainability Specialist for the RIBA Awards and a judge for the BCO, WAN and Civic TrustAwards. Jon is also an active member of the UKGBC, NLA, BCO, and The London Society, and in 2022 was re-elected to the BCO Board of Management
