Joe is an architect with experience in publicly procured town-centre regeneration across a variety of scales and scopes. In his role as Regeneration Project Manager at London Borough of Waltham Forest, Joe currently supports the delivery of a phased programme of public realm improvements in Walthamstow, recently unlocked following a successful bid for Levelling Up funding. These include meanwhile uses and culture-led high street activations.

 

Before joining the public sector via the Public Practice Associate Programme, he worked at Pollard Thomas Edwards on various residential-led schemes and new settlement masterplans.

Joe is passionate about the progressive evolution of the industry and design methodologies that make placemaking more accessible to all, including underrepresented communities. He has various voluntary roles as a champion for ArchitectureLGBT+, and joined the NLA NextGen committee in March 2024.
