Marija Trcka is an innovation leader at Otis Elevator Company. Marija focuses on customer partnered innovation, entrepreneurship and innovation activities with third parties and startups. Marija has considerable experience in technology development, innovation and business development. Prior to joining Otis, Marija held roles with increasing levels of responsibility including Pratt and Whitney and the central research organisation for the former United Technologies.

Marija holds an MSc in Thermal Systems Engineering from University of Belgrade and a PhD in Building Physics and Systems from Eindhoven University of Technology. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Willis H. Carrier Young Researchers Award, and the Homer Addams Award from ASHRAE.
