Matias has over 6 years of experience working a wide array of masterplanning and public realm projects, from high-density masterplans in central London through to low-density schemes just outside the M25, always with a particular interest on the space between buildings. Adding his knowledge of international practice to the rigour of Farrells’ design approach, Matias has led diverse workstreams for key projects of the practice including regeneration frameworks, urban design guidance, design codes, and several mixed-use residential-led masterplans. A keen researcher, he is a key player of the office’s sustainability group, constantly assessing the approach of the Urban Design team in developing schemes with added environmental, social, and economic values.
