Sarah Birt (MRICS, MRTPI) is a Senior Development Manager in the Strategic Projects and Property team at GLA. Sarah is an Urban Design London Board Member, a Housing Design Awards judge and she sits on the GLA Housing & Land Design Steering Group. Sarah had a leading role in successfully introducing design and sustainability funding criteria in the GLA’s new £4 billion Affordable Homes Programme 2021-2026, and in making the case for Pilots to improve design outcomes and residents’ lived experience in affordable homes the GLA funds.
