Thom joined Hopkins in 2005 and was made a Director in 2023. He has particular experience in workplace and retrofit projects, starting with his first project for Hopkins - the refurbishment of the 1930s Wellcome Trust Headquarters. 

Notable projects since then include the London 2012 Velodrome, recladding of the East Wing Tower for St Thomas’ Hospital, refurbishment of the Pottery and Stables buildings at the Grade I listed Holkham Hall and a new Indoor Tennis Centre for the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Thom recently oversaw delivery of the Baker Street project, which features a 200,000 sq ft office building, 42 residential apartments, 10 affordable housing units and 20,000sq of prime retail space.  Occupying an entire urban block, the project revitalises street presence and creates attractive new public realm.
