Tim Bell is co-founder and Director of Bell Phillips, an architecture studio based in Wapping which was established in 2004. Under Tim’s leadership the studio’s body of work reflects their care and commitment to social benefit by being at the forefront of a new wave of public housing and is further expressed through a series of interventions in parks and public spaces.

Tim has been significantly involved in design and delivery of every Bell Phillips project with a keen eye on the detailed design and construction stages. He has an in-depth knowledge of housing and regeneration, and also has significant experience in office and education buildings.

Tim’s most important focus is on protecting the environment and leads the studio’s inhouse sustainability team. Spearheading research on low embodied carbon he uses his respected position to influence key decision makers in our sector and provide clients with the design solutions to achieve zero carbon.
