As part of NLA's Housing programme, join us to champion stewardship and collaboration for resilient and high-quality housing.
As part of the NLA Housing programme, this Breakfast Talk showcases projects that exemplify best practice in community collaboration, exploring how high-quality housing can meet diverse needs across generations.
As London’s population continues to age, housing needs across generations are evolving. The built environment industry must be better informed about how homes and neighbourhoods can support people at different life stages and with lasting impact.
This Breakfast Talk will highlight projects, partnerships and people that place communities at the centre of decision-making, demonstrating how close collaboration between residents, local authorities, and delivery teams can shape homes that respond to changing needs over time. These examples show how long-term stewardship, alongside continuity in management and care, plays a crucial role in ensuring housing remains adaptable, well-loved, and resilient for decades.
Drawing on case studies from across London, the discussion will consider the opportunities and challenges of embedding collaboration and stewardship into both new and existing housing, and how these approaches can support stronger neighbourhoods, long-term affordability and better living environments for Londoners.
Join us to gain insights from NLA’s recent study ‘Homes for Londoners: A new agenda for public housing’ and be part of the conversation shaping the future of sustainable housing for current and future Londoners.
