London Tall Buildings Survey 2023

Talk

Friday 12 May 2023
08:30 - 09:30

Join us as we present our latest edition of the annual London Tall Buildings report including insights into planning policies, and focusing on sustainability.
Since launching in 2014, the NLA London Tall Buildings Survey has been the only comprehensive review of tall buildings in London driving the debate on how high-density development can contribute to the city, analysing key trends and providing insights into policy, construction and design.

But the market and perceptions of tall buildings are changing. With changes in planning policies, the cost of construction and living crises, and pressure on the sustainability and viability of schemes, can tall buildings provide innovative solutions that are financially, socially and environmentally sustainable?

NLA’s London Tall Buildings Survey 2023 will provide the annual pipeline update, developing insights into planning policies, attitudes towards density and the climate agenda in London. Under the theme “Sustainable Skylines”, the report will present best practices in the planning, design and construction of sustainable high-density developments.

In this event, we present the new Tall Buildings Survey, that provides the annual pipeline update, developing insights into planning policies, attitudes towards density and the climate agenda in London. Under the theme “Sustainable Skylines”, the report will present best practices in the planning, design and construction of sustainable high-density developments.
