This NLA On Location conference presents the transformation of Brent Cross
Brent Cross Town is a new £7 bn, 180-acre park town in north London being brought forward by Related Argent. This pioneering mixed-use, net zero carbon town is underpinned by core values of social connectivity, environmental sustainability, and health and wellness. With 6,700 exceptional new homes and modern flexible workplaces for over 25,000 employees all set around 50 acres of lush green parks & playing fields, and complemented by exceptional indoor and outdoor sports and wellness facilities, Brent Cross Town is a new park town for future London.

Vital to the masterplan of Brent Cross Town are its four pledges; to be a net zero carbon town no later than 2030; to be a place where all can flourish; to be the place in London to participate in sport and play; and to enhance connections. This underpins Brent Cross Town’s aspiration to be a true 15-minute town, with all the amenities residents, workers and visitors need available within walking distance. With a new high street bringing together well-known and independent shops, cafes and restaurants, complemented by eight new public squares, wide pedestrian boulevards and landscaped parks, Brent Cross Town is designed to meet the needs of people’s changing lifestyles and more flexible ways of living and working in London.

As part of the neighbourhood’s commitment to be a net zero carbon town by 2030, it has partnered with Vattenfall, the Swedish Government-owned power company which is one of the most advanced energy providers in the world, to create a state-of-the-art district heat network that will deliver affordable, reliable, low carbon heating and hot water to all at Brent Cross Town.

This NLA On Location conference presents the transformation of Brent Cross Town, its inspiring approach to enabling new ways of living and working, and the masterplans’ contribution to the overall wellbeing and economic development of the borough.
