Join a study tour of Stroudley Walk, delivering affordable homes, community spaces and a revitalised high street in Bromley-by-Bow, shaped with residents and local partners.
Stroudley Walk is a transformative regeneration project in Bromley‑by‑Bow, delivered by Muse in partnership with Poplar HARCA and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, with design led by RMA Architects. The masterplan creates a mixed‑use neighbourhood featuring 274 new homes, including 82 London Affordable Rent homes and 33 shared ownership homes, with over half of the development genuinely affordable.
Designed through extensive community engagement, with more than 500 local residents contributing, the scheme reimagines the neighbourhood with improved public spaces, a new pocket park, part‑pedestrianised streets, and active ground‑floor uses that support local life and businesses. Retail spaces, a community kitchen café, and enhanced public realm features reinforce the area’s historic character while promoting social connection.
A key aspect of the project is its commitment to inclusive design. Recent updates highlight the delivery of purpose‑built homes for families with neurodivergent children, providing calmer, sensory‑considered environments that directly support wellbeing, reduce overstimulation, and offer appropriate space for development, a vital addition in a borough facing acute overcrowding.
Stroudley Walk represents a community‑led, socially‑focused regeneration, creating a safer, greener and more inclusive neighbourhood rooted in local needs and heritage.
Please note the capacity for this event is very limited. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of two per organisation.
