Webinar

Join Envac for this webinar to discover how pneumatic waste systems enhance modern developments and gain technical guidance and real life examples from Wembley Park.
This webinar provides a structured technical introduction to pneumatic waste collection for built environment professionals. Aimed at architects, engineers, and city planners, it focuses on building core competency in when, why, and how to specify automated waste systems as part of modern urban infrastructure.

Using Wembley Park as the primary case study, the session will cover the technical principles behind pneumatic collection, system components and layout, performance parameters, and typical design and integration requirements for high-density, mixed-use schemes. It will also examine lifecycle impacts, including carbon, operational efficiency, space take, safety, and public realm quality, giving participants a grounded understanding of the trade-offs versus conventional, vehicle-based systems.

The 30-minute Q&A will allow participants to test scenarios from their own projects, explore common challenges around planning, retrofitting and multi-stakeholder estates, and clarify key points for future design work. By the end of the webinar, attendees will have a stronger technical foundation for evaluating pneumatic waste collection, greater confidence when engaging with clients and local authorities, and practical insights they can immediately apply to upcoming schemes.
