What are the city-wide circular strategies, policies and networks that are being developed both in London and Copenhagen?
The Mayor has set ambitious targets for London to be a zero-carbon city by 2030. If we are to achieve carbon neutrality our priorities must include retaining buildings and infrastructure while making them more environmentally sustainable and replacing the end-of-life concept with re-use, re-purpose and recycle. What are the city-wide circular strategies, policies and networks that are being developed both in London on the international stage?
How can London learn from the best-practice from Copenhagen to achieve our own zero-carbon status by 2030? What are the challenges and opportunities to adopting circular principles in London and Copenhagen and how can we learn from each other to overcome these barriers? Where does the role of ‘good design’ align with sustainability issues and could this be the key to unlocking circular innovations?
In this webinar we will hear from two European cities that are producing innovative work in relation to building towards circularity. This event forms a part of the NLA City Dialogues programme, which brings together speakers and audiences to foster cross-city dialogue and learning between cities.
