The Bldg Centre, 26 Store St, London WC1E 7BT, UK

Merton Council and Love Wimbledon BID are very excited to showcase the winners of our Future Wimbledon ideas competition at an exhibition at the NLA. The display presents a selection of creative visions to transform Wimbledon town centre.
FutureMerton, the Council's regeneration team and Love Wimbledon Business BID teamed up with the Design Council to launch an open competition for ideas that envisage what Wimbledon town centre could look like in the next 15 years.   The ideas will contribute to a masterplan for the town’s future; making it a fantastic place to live and work and one of London’s best connected centres.

The judges, including Paul Finch, Peter Murray, Alison Brooks, Wayne Hemingway and Morag Myerscough, assessed the brilliantly imaginative entries in the form of animations, sketches and architectural designs from two categories; rising stars in the professional field and by the local community.
