New London Architecture

CLOSED: Smart Art / Smart Cities

Start: 04 September 2018 - 00:00
End: 29 October 2018 - 00:00

16 Fleming Way, London SE28 8NR, UK

The exhibition explores how an international group of artists are bringing original ideas to our cities.

Curated by FuturePace, an innovative partnership dedicated to delivering major art interventions in the public realm, the exhibition will introduce the practice of selected artists who engage with our built environment, including JR, Studio Drift, Random International, Michal Rovner, teamLab, Kohei Nawa and Leo Villareal. The display will feature urban projects realised in London as well as artistic short films edited by the studios.

Over the course of this exhibition, we will debate culture led placemaking, new approaches to public art and the appetite by the private sector for art and architecture.
