Through the looking glass is a series of 10 photographs by Agnese Sanvito taken from London’s landmark sites, offices and residential projects. Collectively these images consider how our perspective of the outside is constructed from the position of looking through and beyond each structure.
By including the surrounding architectural elements in each frame, the series reflects the viewer’s interior position in the exterior world.  This intriguing idea focuses on how we relate to and inhabit a building beyond admiring the view often removed from its immediate context.
Agnese Sanvito is an architectural photographer based in London.
