Comfortable cities - wellbeing in public spaces

Start: 08 December 2021 - 10:00
End: 31 March 2022 - 17:00

The City Centre, 80 Basinghall Street, London, EC2V 5AG

Presenting the pioneering Thermal Comfort modelling guidelines developed by the City of London Corporation with partner RWDI, this exhibition explores how measuring and analysing micro-climatic conditions alongside wellbeing factors can enable better planning of public spaces in the City. With detailed heatmaps of the City of London containing analysis of wind, sunlight and thermal comfort factors, we look at how this tool can be applied to future planning to address both climate change as well as the wellbeing of City dwellers.
