Event Island Stevenage is located in the heart of Stevenage Town Centre, adjacent to the Town Square and opposite the council offices. It forms a larger part of the town’s wider £1bn regeneration project to create a town centre with a mix of uses, including improved transport facilities, leisure, culture, retail spaces and town centre living. Event Island Stevenage is an early intervention by the local authority to activate a space that was once home to the bus station.
