NEW LONDON AWARDS 2020

NEW LONDON AWARDS 2020

Highly commended in the HOUSING category
The Officers’ House consists of the redevelopment of a dilapidated Grade II listed barracks building and a new “twin” block at Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. The project provides 34 new homes as well as new landscaping and public realm. AHMM retained and refurbished as much of the existing building as possible, returning it to active use while preserving the character of the existing spaces and elevations. The new public square creates a successful urban environment with simple pedestrian access to and from the future Woolwich Arsenal, Elizabeth Line station.
