The new headquarters for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, encompasses the restoration of the Grade II listed former Royal London Hospital building, and the addition of an extension.

Encompassing the restoration of the Grade II former Royal London Hospital building and the addition of a new build extension, the move consolidates several of the council's offices in one location, offering a range of public services in a more accessible location in Whitechapel. The surrounding new public realm provides much needed dwell space for visitors to the town hall and the neighbouring hospital. Large scale public event spaces are located at ground level in the new extension Smaller, enclosed public engagement spaces and the Resident’s Hub are located within the existing building’s ground floor close to the main portico entrance.
