According to the London Office Policy Reviews, London is expected to experience a projected growth of 575,000 additional office jobs over the period 2011-2036. Following this, the London Plan 2021 has identified the need to provide a sufficient supply of fit-for-purpose office spaces to meet the growing demand while balancing net zero carbon goals.

Retrofitting the existing building stock to adapt interiors contributes to a circular economy approach but office fit outs can also account for a significant portion of a building’s overall embodied carbon. So, what are some of the professional standards to fit outs and how can they be done in a sustainable way that minimizes a building’s lifetime carbon footprint?

Watch this technical webinar to learn more about how interiors can be adapted to meet the requirements for office spaces and best practices for sustainable fit out solutions.
