The future of the office

BCO and Executive Partner, Global Head of Total Workplace, Cushman & Wakefield

Despina Katsikakis is Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Occupier Business Performance, having previously worked with office thought-leaders DEGW. She brings her formidable experience to bear on the tricky question of how we will use offices in a post-pandemic environment.

The critical aspect that makes offices be of value is the connection to colleagues; the ability to be mentored, to learn, to innovate, to have creative ideas together and to have serendipitous encounters which bring us joy throughout the day.

She believes the office will remain very important for housing work but likes the idea of 'distributed sets of work locations'.
