Liz Peace CBE

Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation
Chairman

Liz Peace CBE chairs the body overseeing the Palace of Westminster's refurbishment in the 21st century. She sits down with Peter Murray to talk about the rehousing of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, recommending 'Mr Barry's War' as essential reading, to learn lessons from the past. The book, written by Caroline Shenton outlines the struggles and issues during the original project.

Working alongside the political end users makes sure that we have a very clear requirement which is passed on to the delivery authority.

Covid-19 has taken its toll on many small businesses, but as Liz Peace explains, Howard de Walden Estate and many others have put in a huge amount of effort to look after their occupants, providing great help and relief during this difficult time. She says no-one truly knows the long-term effects Covid-19 will have on the high street so it is important to keep as many options open as possible.

Conversation then moves onto; affordable housing as well as the latest news of the Old Oak Common and Park Royal Development Corporation.
