Throughout his 28-year career with Waterman, Charlie has delivered a diverse range of projects and has extensive experience in commercial and public sector buildings. He has particular expertise in collaborative working with project design teams, where he helps test and refine project briefs to identify design strategies which best complement the site attributes and client ambitions for a scheme. 

 

An active member of the NLA Net Zero committee, Charlie champions Waterman’s holistic cross-discipline approach to sustainability, embedding low carbon and circular economy principles throughout his designs. Passionate about supporting the next generation of engineers, he has mentored many junior team members and plays a key role in shaping their learning and development journeys.
