Damian Hemmings is Principal Policy Officer for energy and climate policy in the built environment within Westminster City Council’s Innovation and Change Directorate.

Having joined Westminster City Council in 2019, Damian is helping to lead the council’s efforts to deliver on its Climate Emergency Declaration to achieve net zero emissions by 2030 and to ensure the wider city achieves net zero by 2040. Damian has over 10-years’ experience in delivering energy, climate and sustainability-focused policy and projects in the public sector.
