NLA’s Housing Conference convenes leading experts across the housing sector to explore the challenges and opportunities in public housing.
The NLA annual Housing Conference convenes leading experts and decision-makers each year from across the housing sector to examine the most significant challenges and opportunities in housing planning, delivery and impact at both local and national levels.

A renewed public housing agenda is needed to meet London’s growth needs. As housing delivery has stalled, viability gaps have widened, and housing targets appear increasingly out of reach, ambitious approaches are required to deliver high-quality housing that Londoners are proud to call home. Success will hinge on new models of public–private partnerships able to mobilise investment and capacity at scale, supported by long-term government commitment.

The conference will focus on the development of effective partnership models and innovative funding mechanisms to mobilise investment and unlock delivery at scale. It forms part of the NLA’s ongoing housing research and programme of events following the launch of the ‘Homes for Londoners: A new agenda for public housing’ insight study, which explores the evolving role of the public sector in shaping the next cycle of housing.
