Event celebrating London Borough of Culture, passing the baton to the next winner

In 2020 Waltham Forest, the first ever London Borough of Culture, is passing the baton to Brent. NLA brings together both boroughs to explore the legacy of the first edition and to present the future plans of the second programme of cultural activities celebrating local people and places.

What have been the highlights of the first edition of the London Borough of Culture? How is the programme transforming the way culture and local communities are included in the creation of new places? What are the future plans, programmes and projects for the next edition?

Free Event

This event is free to attend but registration is essential.

For ten years we have tracked the data of no-shows at our events. So that we don’t deny places to those who really want to attend we do overbook based on our experience. Our calculations are usually pretty accurate but sometimes we do have to turn away latecomers.
