London’s Pride: celebrating LGBT+ spaces

Talk

Friday 10 September 2021
10:00 - 11:00

Celebrating the projects and initiatives that support the LGBT+ community in London.
London is home to a large LGBT+ community that play a vital role in the capital’s economy, culture and society, helping to make London one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world. Yet, with declining numbers of LGBT+ venues across London and rises in hate crime, along with the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 – including mental health, isolation, living in unsafe environments and homelessness – it is more important than ever to create safe and inclusive places to live, work and visit.

Celebrating Pride in London this September, this webinar showcases some of the projects and initiatives that support and engage the LGBT+ community, helping to create visibility, unity and equality across the city, and ensure London remains a queer friendly city.
