New London Architecture

NYLON #19 - Workplace futures

Talk

Tuesday 08 June 2021
14:00 - 15:30

London and New York will share thought leadership forecasting how the nature of the office will change after the disruption of 2020.
The event starts at 14:00 (London) / 09:00 (New York)

In association with Center for Architecture, Urban Design Forum and Van Alen Institute.

New London Architecture have just launched their most recent piece of research WRK/LDN: Office revolution? which documents how workspaces across London have evolved adjusting to the pandemic and how they will need to adapt for the future.

London and New York will take this opportunity to share thought leadership forecasting how the nature of the office will change after the disruption and radical shifts 2020 has brought about. What will the office look like and how will it be used in the future? How will the workplace adapt to changes in the economy and public life of commercial districts? Will global financial centres see their office stock move to more locally relevant uses?

The live webinar will take place simultaneously in both cities at 09:00 in New York and 14:00 in London. This event forms a part of the NLA City Dialogues programme, which brings together speakers and audiences to foster cross-city dialogue and learning between cities.
