Explore 220 Blackfriars, the £400m, 22-storey office development in Southwark, setting new standards for workplace experience, social value and placemaking.

The tour will offer exclusive construction-stage insights into a major central London office scheme led by developer JTRE London and designed by Fathom Architects and EPR Architects.

Guests will learn about the design and delivery strategies shaped by principles of placemaking, community and social value.

A defining feature of the scheme is its emphasis on workplace experience, with 21,000 sq ft (10% of the total footprint) dedicated to flexible amenity space. This includes the entire 21st floor, featuring a landscaped terrace known as the Sky Lounge, with views across the City and South Bank, alongside bookable event spaces.

Attendees will also gain an understanding of the development’s pioneering approach to social value. Five per cent of occupier rents will be donated to Southwark Charities to fund local grants, alongside the development of 64 affordable almshouses for older local residents on site.

220 Blackfriars demonstrates how investment in workplaces can contribute more widely to the surrounding community and support the continued evolution of the South Bank and Blackfriars Road as a vibrant business district.

Please bring your own PPE if you have it, including safety boots, a hi-vis vest and a hard hat. If you do not have any of these items, please let us know on the booking form and we will do our best to source the required sizes.

Please note the capacity for this event is very limited and therefore tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis, with a maximum of 2 per organisation.
