Join this study tour of Crystal Palace Park focusing on the latest phase of the regeneration works brought forward by Bromley Council in partnership with the Crystal Palace Park Trust.
The tour will be led by HTA Design, landscape architect and lead consultant, and Maylim, the contractor responsible for delivering the works.
Over 170 years ago, Sir Joseph Paxton designed Crystal Palace Park (Grade II* Listed) as a “journey through time”, beginning in prehistory. The tour will start in the Geological Court, exploring the restoration works to the iconic dinosaur sculptures and the new landscape introduced around them, complementing the pre-historical narrative.
Other points of interest will include the new dinosaur-themed play area co-designed with the local community, the new visitor centre, and the reinstated Grand Centre Walk, one of Paxton’s key features, leading to a newly created gateway inspired by the Crystal Palace ironwork.
Please note that capacity for this event is very limited. Tickets will therefore be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 2 per organisation.
If you can no longer attend, please either cancel your booking through Eventbrite or email events@nla.london so your space can be released as far in advance as possible. Our Study Tours have a high demand and a very limited capacity so we appreciate your cooperation with us on this.
