The Bldg Centre, 26 Store St, London WC1E 7BT, UK

Building with a vision means taking the future seriously. With finite resources, the future of urban development is inconceivable without sustainable reuse of materials.

This exhibition explores WICONA’s circular approach to manufacturing aluminium for the construction industry.

About 75 per cent of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable, as its quality and material properties are never lost. Furthermore, melting down end-of-life aluminium uses just five per cent of the energy required for primary aluminium production. The greater the recycled content of post-consumer scrap, the better for our cities and the environment.

With sustainability being the biggest challenge for modern production, this exhibition invites you to explore the sustainable processes at the heart of Hydro CIRCAL, manufactured entirely using low-carbon alloys.
