Formation Architects

Formation Architects is an established and award winning AJ100 practice.

From concept through to delivery, our experience is concentrated into four main sectors; residential (from affordable housing through to super prime), commercial, hotels and master planning. The practice became an Employee Owned Trust in 2015, this gives us more design freedom, and we don’t have to push any particular agenda, this also promotes an entrepreneurial culture and attitude internally.

In design terms we do not push any particular agenda, instead recognising quality wherever it may be found, in the proportions of an elevation or the refinement of a detail.

The practice has received industry recognition with awards including the prestigious Housing Design Award, British Homes Awards, British Council of Offices Award amongst others.
