SyLon: Housing Solutions from London to Sydney

Talk

Tuesday 08 July 2025
08:30 - 10:00

Join us to hear from London and Sydney on how both global cities are addressing housing targets amid shifting political landscapes.
Join a live global forum as London and Sydney tackle one of the defining challenges of our time: delivering the homes our growing cities urgently need.

With each city aiming to build between 50,000 to 100,000 homes annually, both London and Sydney confront shared pressures – shifting political tides, constrained capital, construction bottlenecks, land constraints and regulatory complexities. Yet their strategies for delivery diverge, offering rich ground for exchange.

As elections reshape political leadership in both Australia and the UK, SyLon brings together policymakers, developers, architects and planners to explore practical, scalable solutions for liveable, inclusive cities.

Format: Simultaneous in-person event at The London Centre and Lendlease Barangaroo (Sydney), featuring real-time cross-city panels, keynotes, and networking.

You can register to attend the event in Sydney here.
