Since 1938, when our founder worked on Battersea Power Station, Atkins has been at the heart of London. Our award-winning London-based team leads innovative projects that improve the built environment and help to keep the city moving both physically and economically. From transforming derelict industrial land and historical landmarks to improving vital transport links, the breadth and depth of our technical expertise has touched almost every element of London’s infrastructure and built environment.

Over the past fifteen years, since the founding of the NLA ,we have worked on projects across the capital including the Olympic Park, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Circus, cycling routes in Kingston and public realm security improvements across Whitehall. We have delivered areas of social housing, integrated environmentally sensitive flood defences in Hampstead Heath, supported the delivery of Crossrail and produced design guidance for several London Boroughs.

We continue to be committed to the delivery of good quality design that improves people’s lives across our dynamic and evolving capital.
