Public Private Partnerships Showcasing Beam Park

Talk

Tuesday 14 September 2021
10:30 - 11:30

Hear from Countryside, L&Q, GLA, the Leaders of LB Havering and LB Barking and Dagenham discussing public private partnerships showcasing the regeneration of Beam Park, a 1bn development that is transforming a major site in east London.
Panellists will explore key topics such as partner collaboration, upfront Infrastructure delivery, investment in the community, mixed tenure delivery and how these approaches informed the development.

Beam Park is a joint venture between Countryside and L&Q, that is delivering 3,000 homes (50% affordable), two primary schools, a medical centre, retail space, a proposed new train station and extensive public realm. The joint venture draws down phase parcels from the GLA and the site sits within both LB Barking and Dagenham and LB Havering.
