Dalibor Savović is a Senior Associate in DeSimone’s London office. He has over 15 years of international experience in the construction industry, including hands-on structural design, analysis, and leadership roles with a proven track record in delivering complex, high-rise projects across diverse sectors, including commercial, residential, leisure, and mixed-use developments. His expertise also includes lift traffic analysis, complex simulations, feasibility studies, tender specifications, and evaluating existing lift performance.
Passionate about sustainable design, Dalibor’s been instrumental in the design of several notable timber buildings. His work includes contributing to the CERN facility in Prévessin-Moëns, France, where timber was used in various structures to reduce the project's carbon footprint.
Additionally, Dalibor played a key role in the development of Quay 16, a timber mixed used building in Gothenburg, Sweden. The ambitious project responds to the desire to achieve climate neutrality, with upcycling and biodiversity comprising key elements of the design, embracing the material circularity and net zero carbon strategies.
Dalibor received his MSc degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering from the University of Novi Sad in the Republic of Serbia. He is an active Committee Member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (Europe Scientific & Advisory Group, Adaptive-Reuse, Vertical Transportation, Height & Data Committee), International Association of Elevator Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
