Rumi is the project manager for the Plumstead High Street programme at the Royal Borough of Greenwich. At the GLA, Rumi was Property X-Change Lead and Principal for OPDC, LB Brent, Ealing, Westminster City Council and RB Kensington & Chelsea project and programme delivery. Rumi has 14 years of experience in regeneration delivery, urban design, construction management, engagement and planning policy. During her time at Southwark Council, Rumi delivered a variety of regeneration outputs including the Canada Water Masterplan Social Charter, Southwark High Street Challenge, the Low Line Commons, The Hithe, Rotherhithe and the award-winning Peveril Gardens. Rumi remains involved with Property X-Change as a sounding board member to help advocate diverse voices coming together, to share experience and ideas to create thriving high street property that works for all Londoners.
